EOY is coming...
It is just the first week of Term 4, but I can feel that the pressure is piling up. Almost all teachers come will remind us of something connected with EOY. Indeed, next Friday we will welcome our first battle, English and Chinese Paper One. By now for English, I still have quite a lot to prepare. In addition, the day before the test will be the O Level Chemistry Spa. Beforehand, I did not really fear those experimental issues. In middle school, I almost helped our chemistry teacher demonstrate everything. However, a mock Physics Spa changed me view on this practical task drastically.
For the Physics Spa on the refraction of light , in which we were supposed to find out the refractive index of a glass block, I almost made every mistake that a student could have made. Firstly, I did not keep my incident angles increase consistently. Secondly, I did not stick to one point of incidence. Thirdly, after I realised my mistake, I kept carrying out the wrong experiment until the Spa teacher told me to redo the whole experiment. However, this was not bad enough. After I changed into a blank piece of drawing paper and started afresh, I got so anxious that in the "plotting graph" part, I inverted X and Y axis:( Finding out that my graph was more than eerie, I started to plot a new graph again. Of course, I ran out of time in this crucial experiment. Since then, I really began to take Spa seriously. Next Thursday will be our first Spa Assessment, I hope everything goes smoothly, safely and correctly.
In this week, everyone was working so hard that I felt pressurised... It seems that I should work harder to catch up. I shall continue to concentrate on my poor English, while keeping every other subject up to standard. It is hard! Based on my experience in these 9 years, once you get to a high level, you are supposed to remain there. Defending is always more challenging than attacking, according to some ancient warfare doctrines~
It is time for work now, let's get started. Those who have already started, continue your good work. Since it is our responsibility to learn, let's perform our responsibility well.
THIS SUNDAY IS MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL, I am looking forward to a full moon. Inside the moon, I am sure I will see more...hah
