It has been such a tired morning, but it was really fun!
Filming started at 8:30. Everyone was nervous at the beginning. We stuttered a lot and sometimes swallowed our words. Being a director was not easy. Choosing the scenes, organising actors/actress, noting the light intensity, balancing the schedules. The morning was really running very tight. Thanks to the good cooperation I finished my job by 11:3o. I cannot be an actress----once being in the film for so long, I lose my footing in reality.
PTC was running quite smoothly. Mr Tan had a lot of work to do, so I was not there to disturb him. From Sec1 to Sec4 every student was so nervous with their parents, as if it was the first time they had ever walked with them. I did not get back my report book, since I had already known my results. (For the faint-hearted please navigate away)This Mid-year was quite a breakthrough for me: I got my first A1 for English. It was pure luck, since I happened to be interested in American politics and read quite a lot on Obama, which came out in comprehension paper. There was regret, too, for my combined humanities. I did not do well for Social Studies. Mrs Sabar's comment was touching. She really knows me, against all odds:)
This afternoon I will patronise the JE Library. It will be a great time ahead. In the evening, I will dine with my "family". Yurou and Mary are also going with us:D
One great news: WJ has passed his driving test! Remeber him?
Oh, by the way. Jason W is taking the four-o-clock flight back to China. I will miss him.
P.S. I am reading "The Appeal" now. A superb work on trial and justice.
